MILIA: How to Remove the Small White Skin Cysts?
Do you know what milia is? Milia are those small round white cysts on the skin that are filled with keratin. Milia appear when keratin gets stuck under the skin – this protein can be found in our skin, nails and hair and is the main structural material that makes the outer layer of human skin.
Milia are simply an aesthetic problem, but they look pretty unpleasant and are easily noticed. The cysts mostly appear on newborns, but this doesn’t mean that adults won’t get them. In general, they disappear after a few weeks and appear mostly on the face. The small round cysts may be difficult to get rid of, but there are more than a few simple tricks which can eliminate them in just a short time. Here’s what you need to do:
Take a comedone extractor and make a tiny tear on top of the milia – be very gentle or you will scar your skin. Once you’re done, take tweezers and take the cyst out, then finish with your skin care routine in the end.
For this method, you’ll need a needle, tweezers and a comedone extractor. Clean your face nicely first, then pat it dry with a towel and rinse with lukewarm water. Now, rub the needle, comedone extractor and tweezers in alcohol, then use the needle to make a small tear on the edge of the milia. Use the extractor and tweezers to remove it and rinse your face with water in the end.
Make a small tear at the edge of the cyst with a needle, then insert a pair of tweezers in gently and take the milia out.
If you’ve been suffering from this unpleasant problem, we suggest trying these 3 simple tips. However, be careful when making a tear in your skin or you may damage it beyond repair. Move slowly and you will be able to get rid of all the milia on your face.
